A Message from Your President
My name is Loraine Miller, and I am very humbled to serve as your Georgia SGNA president for 2025. The last few post-pandemic years have been rebuilding years. Our local and regional societies have been greatly impacted as many leaders have either retired or left the field of Gastroenterology for different career paths. We had a very successful State Educational conference at Unicoi Park in Helen last Fall under the leadership of our Immediate Past President, Nathan Long.
My goals for this year include a focus on carrying out our mission of advancing the science and practice of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Nursing through Education, Advocacy, Collaboration and promoting the professional development of our members. The journey to successful rebuild starts with communication and updating our regional website.
